The new wave of teacher "teckkies" must address the needs of the students (after we learn how to use the tools- :-) -with new strategies just as we we do in DI (differentiated instruction) - teach the students to be self-starters with the tools given that effectively suit them- a means to an end. So, too, with effective ways to use technology in the classroom, we must guide the students w/tools of academic investigation, sharing ideas, safety, and presentation. In the end the students will choose the tools address their particular needs.
